Please visit http://www.stanleyassociates.com for more information. Incumbent is the on-site Lead Network Engineer and Technical Lead responsible to maintain and modify cross domain, Protection Levels 2 and 3 (PL-2 and PL-3) architectures. Focus on enterprise architecture solutions development and integration, as well as expedient resolution to user initiated trouble calls on workstations, network or enterprise level appliances.Specific Duties:• Maintains multiple operational, test, and development networks. • Develops complex network solutions, including remote and COOP sites. • Provides technical expertise in the use of Information Technology (IT) Information Assurance (IA) tools to implement computer network security. • Manages Level 1, 2 and 3 network devices for multiple networks. • Provides expedient resolution to all network issues caused by integration of new network services or systems. • Utilizes network management applications to provide preventive maintenance to production systems. • Manages military network encryption devices deployed on a wide area network. • Monitors network performance and recommend courses of action for responding to anomalous trends or events; help translate these into impact analyses to be presented to senior customer personnel. • Other duties as required. High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and a minimum of 5 years directly related work experience as a network engineer are required.Additional Requirements:• Ability to successfully complete the Stanley Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment. • Possession of an ACTIVE TOP SECRET security clearance with a Special Government Agency clearance is required to begin employment; US Citizenship is required. • Ability to travel up to 25% or less. • Knowledge of routers and switches (i.e., Cisco) to include Virtual Private Network (VPN) and routing protocols through secure telecommunications solutions. • Current (within 3 years) Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) certification. • Strong Systems Engineering mindset to ensure that network configuration is maintained and that any changes made are done so in accordance with established Systems Engineering policies and procedures. • Customer-centric focus on enterprise architecture solutions development and integration. • Knowledge of IT solution development in compliance with DCID 6/3. • Ability to produce network diagrams and drawings using Microsoft Visio. • Ability to work independently. Preferred Skills:• Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) certification. • Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) certification. • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology disciplin Location: Arlington, VA 22201 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: IT/Software Development Relevant Work Experience: 5+ to 7 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: High School or equivalent
