Today, CA, formerly known as Computer Associates, serves the majority of the Fortune 1000 companies, as well as government organizations, educational institutions and thousands of other companies in diverse industries worldwide.We are currently looking for a qualified Senior Marketing Strategist to join our Strategic Content team at our worldwide headquarters in Islandia, NY.This position is responsible for developing messaging and content that strategically defines CA's relevance to business and IT executives, creating CA value propositions, the go-to-market strategy, planning, execution and sales enablement for CA's vision for the industry, Enterprise IT Management (EITM). Key Responsibilities:* Develop value propositions, white papers, bylined articles, blogs, presentations and other content to establish CA as an industry thought leader * Develop content for integrated launches * Develop sales enablement tools and work directly with sales to ensure tools and messaging within those tools are effective * Work with customers who are committed to our EITM vision to develop integrated marketing plans that are mutually beneficial to the customer and to CA * Manage a virtual team across corporate marketing and account teams to facilitate collaboration and ensure customers are being leveraged for the most strategic marketing opportunities * Serve in an advisory capacity to other groups in corporate and product marketing to ensure consistent reflection of CA messaging around our EITM vision * Brainstorm and provide creative input into CA newsletters, events, CA-sponsored publication and other marketing initiatives * Manage the development of content and the execution of selected marketing programs from start to finish * Manage priorities and adapt deliverables and activities to support changes required by sales or field marketing while maintaining standards, repeatability, performance metrics and control * Steward the brand, along with other Marketing teams, to ensure consistency around the globe * Report on progress, results and budget status Requirements:* Typically 10 years in product marketing in management software * Sales or pre-sales experience a plus * Strong understanding of information technology, CA's markets and competitors a must * Strong knowledge in at least one or two areas related to IT management; ability to learn new areas of technology quickly * Experience working with a field sales organization particularly with knowledge of creating various types of sales enablement tools and education * Strong influencing skills with proven project management experience * Excellent presentation, communication and management skills * Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in a related field, a Master's Degree or global equivalent in a related field or MBA is preferred * Business travel of approximately 10% or less percent yearly is expected for this positionThere's never been a better time to join CA.
