The Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to interface with various levels within the organization. The candidate should also have strong marketing communication skills including strong writing, editing and presentation capabilities. The candidate should have strong computer skills including MS Word, MS PPT, MS Excel and MS CRM. The candidate should have a strong willingness to learn and be passionate about the technology industry. The candidate hired needs to be highly professional, energetic, dedicated and goal-oriented.
Job Function: To assist and support the company's Practice Areas and business development teams with the proper communications media including collateral, presentations, and web to effectively promote the company's solution offerings and go-to-market strategy.
Essential Functions: Effectively manages projects based on current needs, aggressive timelines Meets with appropriate sales or marketing representative to discuss communication needs or participates as a member of the sales and marketing team Researches, writes, develops on an as-needed basis to assist in the development of support materials Assists in the support of direct mail, HTML email programs and helps monitor the roll-out of the campaign from conception to completion Excellent writing skills - including the ability to edit and rewrite raw copy. Also should be able to research topics and develop copy to support applicable media. Branding & corporate graphic standards knowledge Ability to manage the development of materials including white papers, collateral, etc., to ensure that they meet company brand standards Ability to understand and manage web strategy as it relates to specific practice area content and overall web content strategy In depth knowledge of search engine optimization, including knowledge of implementation, strategy and Google Analytics Ability to understand content management tools as they relate to web content additions, edits and changes The ability to manage vendors including, but not limited to proving company strategy, direction and managing company expectations Ability to interface with executive management Excellent communication skills Excellent project management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects and, most importantly, develop schedules to track project progress including communication to all key stakeholders. Required Experience
A bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, advertising or communications.Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 3 (Photoshop, illustrator, In Design, Flash).Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite At least 3 -5 years of solid writing and editing experience, preferably within a newsletter venue type format. Superior presentation and analytical skills, plus demonstrated skills to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously. Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments.
