Senior Information Security Architect

Our client is looking for a Sr Information Security Architect to provide technical leadership for security strategy and architecture development/design, system and software requirements analysis, specification, implementation, testing, integration, and accreditation of trusted systems. In this role the SISA will be responsible for evaluating and executing the technical security vulnerabilities and control measures of various operating systems (Unix, Linux and Windows) to prevent hackers from infiltrating company information or jeopardizing e-commerce programs. Responsibilities: *  Research and develop all aspects of information security engineering with responsibility to assess & mitigate system security threat/risk throughout the program life cycle. * Define and validate system security requirements. Implements secure systems/standards using ISO 27001 & ISO 17799. Participates in the development of a disaster recovery & business continuity plan for company. * Research attempted efforts to compromise security protocols. Uses applicable encryption methods. * Provide information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information. * A senior level individual contributor responsible for execution of projects that link to corporate strategy & objectives.
