Senior IT Staffing Account Manager

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior IT Account Manager in the Chicago area.  

This position will be responsible for identifying, evaluating and managing new business opportunities at both new and existing clients and will establish relationships with potential and existing clients.

* Working closely with active and new clients in acquiring and prioritize client IT staffing requirements
* Providing detailed requirements information to recruiting staff.
* Presenting qualified candidates to those clients, and managing the interview process
* Closing consultant engagements with such clients.
* Developing and maintaining client contacts/relationships
* Entering all activities in database in a timely manner
* Execute management sales and marketing plans We require the following qualities in our Senior Account Managers:
* A minimum of 5+ years of IT Account Management experience with a proven track record
* Candidates must have proven success and history with clients in the Chicago area
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain close relationships with client hiring managers
* Broad technical knowledge of infrastructure and applications development positions and technologies (ie. Web, Client/Server, Mainframe)
* Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Sales oriented:  strong interpersonal and team player skills
* Ability to sell senior level consulting services to clients and develop business through outbound sales calls, networking, meetings, and client visits, etc.
* Excellent influence and negotiation skills
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
* Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
* Excellent outside sales presentation skills
* Bachelor's degree preferred
