USfalcon, Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Functional Area SME that will serve as the Project Lead and provide SME support in IT functional areas to include information systems, information management, information dissemination management, information exchange, information processing, information systems facilities, and information systems and communications networks at Fort Gordon, Georgia.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience in related professional field.
- 5 years experience supporting Microsoft Technologies, specifically Active Directory, SQL Server, Exchange, and Internet Information Services.
- Strong technical knowledge of operating systems (Unix/Windows), hardware types, use, configurations, capabilities, and limitations, and familiarity with hardware vendors (HP, IBM, Dell) and database technologies (SQL, Oracle).
- Final Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced-level knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering concepts as they relate to facility electrical wiring installation, upgrade and maintenance
- Advanced-level knowledge and understanding of configuration, installation, operations, and management of switches and routers; TCP/IP and other protocols; firewall technologies; major server types (HP/Compaq, Dell, Sun); and Microsoft environments that include Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server 2000 and 2005
- Experience with Military or federal government Information systems.
- Familiar with TRADOC Regulation 71-20.
- Knowledge and experience to develop JCIDS documentation to support network transport services capabilities and the ability to provide support to TRADOC sponsored Integrated Capabilities Development Teams (ICDTs), Combined Arms Assessment Teams (CAATs), working groups, experimentation, and war games that relate to the network mission area and the JCIDS process.
Duties:
- Provide IT SME support.
- Assist in research, design, development, and test application of systems hardware.
- Use software, hardware and network tools to assist in creating effective solutions and systems.
- Assist in developing processes and policies for production and installation of new hardware.
- Assist in the design and implementation of tangible products/systems.
- Assist in assuring adherence to both internal Government standards and external industry requirements.
- Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan modifications required.
- Analyze user needs and recommend appropriate hardware.
- Assist in building, testing, and modification of products using working models or theoretical model.
