Our client is seeking a contract-to-perm Senior Desktop Support Specialist available for local travel within the Albuquerque, NM area.  Candidate must be willing to participate in a criminal background check and have own vehicle for local travel.

The ideal candidate will provide desktop support to company employees as well as outlying retail locations.  Candidate must possess 3-5 years experience in desktop support to include installation, troubleshooting, and end-user training in a distributed environment.

Daily Job Functions Include:Expert PC hardware and software support in a Windows/CISCO environmentTier I & II telephone and in-person troubleshooting and problem resolutionStrong experience in a LAN/WAN/Telecom environment including VOIP.Proven experience resolving connectivity issues in a LAN/WAN environmentProject work in IT moves and new installationsExcellent communication and ability to work under pressure is a must

Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience3-5 years of experience maintaining a local area networkDesired certifications MCSE, CompTia
