This is an Oracle 12i implementation and the experience is important, however, not required. Oracle Database Experience : Oracle 10g/9iBusiness Analysts experience in the above modules Development experience with the following tools/languages : SQL, PL/SQL, XML, BPEL,JDeveloper, Oracle Forms & ReportsMust have hands on technical experience in design and/or development of conversions, extensions, reports and interfaces.Experience in writing technical documentation and specifications.Full life cycle implementation projects experience with Oracle Applications.Strong problem solving, interpersonal, written & oral communication and client-facing skills.Previous Oracle Consulting Experience within large consulting organization (Big 4) preferred.Willing to travel 100% though initial project will be based in Houston. Essential Job Functions Business: Gather process redesign requirements, coordinate and participate in development activities, and support the testing and implementation of package-based application software. Business: Build expertise in interface and data conversion requirements, capabilities and limitations, and setup and configuration issues associated with product modules in your specialty area(s). Business: Understand the purpose, roles, and activities related to a solution demonstration lab (SDL) and participate in applying this technique to facilitate application design and implementation. Methodology: Develop a working knowledge of the Catalyst-prescribed approach with respect to package-based development and equivalent vendor methodologies. Management: Lead a team of 3-5 resources (CSC, client, and third-party resources), in your area of expertise, to successful conclusion of a project phase. Technical: Maintain a conceptual understanding of enterprise software package solutions and related implementation issues from a technical perspective. Relationship Management: Establish credibility at all levels within the client and build problem-solving partnerships with the client and colleagues. Leverage: Understand the sales process, its information and support requirements, and assist business developers in identifying or qualifying leads.
