SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST

Bradenton, Florida

This position requires the ability to perform business analysis and software development in order to support business department(s).  This person is expected to address more complex business processes and provide more innovative solutions for the business departments in contrast to a BA.  Commonly, they will possess a detailed understanding of their business area(s) and deeper technical background as well.  The person will demonstrate they can lead projects of greater complexity.  This person will communicate and solve problems at a fairly independent mode.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESI.  Software development

1.  Programming

2.  Analysis

3.  Testing/Implementation

4.  Project Status Communication

II.  Business analysis

1.  Perform process review and analysis

2.  Meet with internal/external customers to understand the business process and make recommendation for improvement

3.  Provide alternative solutions to business issues

4.  Perform estimate of customer requested change

III.  Production support

1.  Provide day-to-day support for production processing 

2.  Maintain working knowledge of application system software

3.  Expected to take a lead role in day-to-day production supportIV. Project complexity

1.  Expected to address greater complexity business processes over BA

2.  Expected manage address mid-size projects independently

3.  Responsible for coordinating team members on a project

V.  Project Leadership

1.  Perform status reporting

2.  Development of project plan

3.  Communication to business the project scope changes or issues

 

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Associate Degree

· Three or more years related experience.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· BS/BA in computer related degree
