Today, CA, formerly known as Computer Associates, serves the majority of the Fortune 1000 companies, as well as government organizations, educational institutions and thousands of other companies in diverse industries worldwide.We are currently looking for a qualified Senior Audio Visual Services Rep to join our Audio Visual Services team at our worldwide headquarters in Islandia, NY.This position is responsible for delivering the audio and visual technical requirements for events or projects within CA, Inc.Key Responsibilities:* Record video projects; digitize, edit and export to media files and DVDs. * Delivery of media files to requesters. * Record and edit audio projects. * Assist with live event and recording projects with capabilities of performing in more that one of the following roles: audio engineer, technical director, camera operator, teleprompter operator, and/or stage manager. * Assist in maintaining the Media Library System by entering data and performing searches as needed. * Provide support to web conferencing account holders. Minimum Requirements:* Typically 1-3 years experience using professional audio visual hardware and software in a business or educational setting. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. * Proficiency in A/V related software such as Premiere, Sound Forge, Audition, Camtasia or equivalent. * Knowledge of computer hardware and display systems such as plasma, LCD, DLP. * CTS Certification (Certified Technology Specialist) from infoComm a plus. * Associate's Degree in related field preferred.
