Senior Analyst Programmer
Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN has an opportunity in its Clinical & Extramural Technology Services department for an experienced programmer to develop software integration solutions to enable data communications amongst Mayo's internal clinic systems and external reference lab clients. This includes the Cloverleaf interface engine on Solaris as well as Windows and OpenVMS operating systems.
To qualify, you must have a bachelor's degree, expanded proficiency in one or more programming languages and at least 3 years' professional, relevant IT experience. In addition, strong communication, meeting management, organizational and project management skills are essential. Proven experience in integration/interface development, a client services orientation, ability to mentor other programmers, familiarity with interface standards, communication protocols, UNIX and TcL and a working knowledge of interface engines required. Expanded proficiency in Web Services/SOAP, SQL, Java and XML is preferred, along with experience working in healthcare technology and exposure to managing both custom developed and vendor-supplied applications.
