 In 2007, the firm launched a Corporate Strategy and Business Development function which is responsible for helping set the firm’s growth strategy with a focus on external partnerships and acquisitions. The department works closely with the CEO, senior executive team, and the board.

 Responsibilities:

 In this entrepreneurial role the senior analyst will join a small team and be expected to immediately begin leading research to refine the company’s strategic direction as well as identifying acquisition/partnership targets and leading due diligence in the company’s highest priority growth areas.  In particular the analyst will be expected to use strong leadership skills to manage multiple research projects, formulate perspectives on potential acquisition targets, build relationships with executives at target companies, and communicate recommendations to our executive team and board of directors.  In addition the analyst will be responsible for working with the group head to build-out the strategy and business development group’s structure and processes.

Experience/Attributes:

·       2- 4 years experience and strong track record of academic and professional excellence

·       Ability to identify and frame strategic and financial issues

·       Entrepreneurial mindset

·       Strong analytic skills

·       Exceptional problem solving abilities and creativity

·       Poise to communicate with the board of directors and customers at the CEO level

·       Partnership, strategic investment, and M&A experience (preferred, not required)

·       Modeling experience (preferred, not required)
