We offer a full range of Web-related services, including Web site design and hosting, e-commerce platforms, online security products, and online search engine marketing.  We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accounting Specialist. You will be responsible for a variety of duties within the Accounts Receivable department that may include the following: Processing, tracking and reporting refunds Processing, tracking and reporting account adjustments Investigating and processing credit card disputes and chargebacks Processing credit card, check and wire payments and reporting activity Creating invoices and tracking payment activity Investigating credit card fraud transactions Preparing weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports Mentoring team members, and reviewing work for accuracy Special projects as assigned Some late hours and weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) required as necessary To accomplish these duties the Accounting Specialist will be responsible for processing information on customer accounts within various proprietary databases, compiling data within Excel, extensive research, and providing detailed reporting and information regarding trends.  Additionally, the Accounting Specialist will be responsible for mentoring fellow team members and reconciling/reviewing work to ensure accurate processing.To be successful in this role you will flourish in a fast paced, E-commerce environment.  Embrace change, and seek opportunities for process improvement. Job Experience3+ years work experience in an Accounting role. AA with minimum 5 years progressive experience and the willingness to continue to a BS degree in accounting or BS degree in Business or Accounting. Intermediate MS Excel skills (ability to gather, sort, consolidate, manipulate, use advanced formulas and analyze large volumes of data). Strong data entry skills and the ability to grasp accounting principles, specially cash basis, revenue recognition and expense accrual. Ability to apply logical thinking to solve problems. Ability to effectively communicate in both oral and written form with all levels of Management, employees, and customers. Must be detail-oriented, have exceptional organizational skills, have good presentation skills, multitask and have the ability to perform complex reconciliations.
