Job Category:Analytic Services Primary Location:USA-VA: VIRGINIA-ARLINGTONSchedule:Full-time Job Type:Standard Employee Status:RegularJob Posting: 2008-08-15Description: Essential Job Functions Oversees and facilitates scientific data acquisition, processing and analysis for sensitivity analysis and trade studies for sensors and weapon systems. Serves as a technical expert in understanding and eliminating routine failure modes and deficiencies to enhance product capabilities. Assists in proof of concept testing and data analysis. Generates proof of concept and test result reports to document product development and engineering technology progress. Researches routine aspects of product and technology innovation, product development, and product enhancements to assist research and development personnel. Provides patent information to protect intellectual property and to create first-to-market opportunities. Develops and maintains appropriate documentation Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, chemistry, biology computer science, or related field preferred Six or more years of experience in application and/or engineering technology development Experience working with application development and engineering principles and practices Experience working with company products and offerings Experience working with the technology industry Experience working with mathematical, physical, chemical or biological principles Other Qualifications Creative thinking, analytical and problem solving skills Experience with small and large scale simulations.Organizational skills to balance and prioritize work Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to mentor and train less experienced specialists and other team members Personal computer and business solutions software skills Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:Secret Create Success
