This includes the accountability of account management, customer satisfaction, and new product sales, and additional distributed capacity, by the successful introduction of new solutions. The Software Account Executive will gain a thorough understanding of the clients' business, the corresponding IT initiatives, identifying needs which CA can help resolve, developing compelling business value proposals for our solutions and ultimately closing business. This position is further responsible for developing and maintaining trusted relationships with the senior level decision makers and other key buyers within the assigned account(s). Key Requirements: * Minimum of 5 years technology product and/or service based sales experience, coupled with Account Management experience leveraging senior level contacts within the Federal marketplace, preferably DOT, with a record of exceeding pre-defined, multi-million dollar sales quotas within a high tech business environment * Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of multiple platforms in correlation with various solutions * Must have strong skills in territory planning, account planning, opportunity planning, forecasting, lead to quote, communication, presentation, negotiation, organizational, teaming and attention to detail * Strong knowledge of CA solutions and/or competitor solutions preferred * Experience in utilizing MS Office is required * Bachelor's Degree in Business or related area is preferred * Travel flexibility requiredThere's never been a better time to join CA.
