Our Indianapolis office is looking for an experienced Business Development professional to join their team. This is a Direct Hire position and the right candidate can start ASAP!!Job Summary:The Business Development Manager is responsible and held accountable for consistently increasing branch revenue through the generation of new business and further development of existing accounts. Work overtime and non-traditional business hours as needed.Duties and Responsibilities:-Manage assigned territory.-Service and develop additional business opportunities within current customer base.-Generate business from new accounts.-Generate leads through prospecting and cold calling, both in-person and via telephone.-Research potential business and current customers.-Maintain active participation and membership in networking organizations.-Meet all minimum requirements for weekly, monthly, and quarterly appointment activity and revenue growth.-Complete all required sales reports and detailed documentation by weekly deadlines.-Meet with Branch Manager and inside staff on a regular basis to communicate all customer service priorities and business/sales opportunities.-Provide information on customers or prospects for bids and proposals within assigned territory. -Coach inside staff to help develop their sales skills and comfort with the selling process.If you think you are one of the best and can be successful in this type of position, please respond by telling us why and put "I am the Indy BDM you need" in the subject line to let us know you are a serious candidate.Come join a proven winner-we look forward to hearing from youVolt is an E.O.E. Requirements: -Proven sales experience and strong client services background, 3-5 years minimum experience required. Background in IT staffing preferred.-Strong hunting skills!--Experience in a phone based environment a huge plus! This will be a metrics based phone and client facing hunting role. Technology and staffing background preferred.-Experience selling staff augmentation based solutions preferred-Previous experience servicing, supporting, developing, and generating major accounts-Ability to perform business presentations-Ability to create complex business correspondence-Intermediate skill level using Excel, MS Word, Outlook, and the Internet-Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment -Ability to successfully communicate both verbally and in writing-Ability to follow through and provide excellent customer service-Strong problem solving skills -Ability to prioritize and multi-task-Must demonstrate sound business judgment and decision-making skills-Intermediate computer skills to include Word, Outlook, and the Internet Location: Indianapolis, IN Type: DIRECT Duration: Direct Pay Rate: DOE Contact: Volt Regional OfficeVolt Workforce Solutions311 S.
