Our client manages a range of enterprise-wide IT Services for many Federal, State and Local agencies in California. These include primarily: infrastructure hosting, managed communications, storage, call center and desk top support.

We are seeking an executive experienced at selling a range of services like the ones defined above to Federal, State and Local agencies.

Candidates must have a track record of selling high value, complex solutions in at least one of the categories below:

* The design, deployment and maintenance of the whole hosted infrastructure that sits on the raised floor: servers, storage, load balancers, firewalls, IDS etc. Examples of companies that provide these whole solutions include: IBM, AT&T, EDS, Savvis, Qwest, CSC, Rackspace, Safeguard Scientifics etc

* Large enterprise managed WAN and IP network solutions

* The design and deployment of managed call center solutions and desktop support programs.

* Storage, or server deployments, the key here being a solid understanding of n-tier environments in addition to core expertise with a specific part of the solution. An example might be selling for EMC where, in addition to subject matter expertise selling EMC storage in an overall hosted solution, you would also be knowledgeable about the other elements of the hosted infrastructure

* Selling application level solutions. For example, you would have sold for a company that designs, deploys and maintains the application stack: O.S., database, app server, web server etc. Typically, these are the consulting firms like Accenture, Booz, Deloitte etc.

A history of job stability, demonstrable past performance, and solid references are vital.

Benefits are comprehensive and there are excellent incentives above the base salary and target commission allowing for outstanding income potential and career growth.
