SYSTEM SUPPORT SPECIALIST CORPORATE INFORMATION SERVICES PHILADELPHIA, PA   Position Scope   As a member of the Information Services team, the Systems Support Specialist interfaces with, and supports the applications development and computer operations efforts.   This role will be involved in implementing application systems & software upgrades.  The Systems Support Specialist will maintain & coordinate the appropriate levels of systems and application software. The primary responsibility of this position will be the administration of our change management system (Turnover) and Mimix software environments.  The position is the primary interface between applications systems and computer operation groups.   The information systems support functions are centralized at the corporate headquarters located in Philadelphia, PA. The support of this highly sophisticated, structured and centralized core application system will be a challenging opportunity.    Reporting Relationships   The Systems Support Specialist will report to the Director, Computer Operations who in turn reports to the Vice President of Information Services.  This position is located at Crown’s corporate headquarters in Philadelphia.  The travel requirements associated with this position are negligible.   Functional Responsibilities   · Provide hands-on system technical support to Application Systems & Operations staff.   · Provide quality, effective and consistent computing solutions to the IS groups as required.  Included are training issues, phone requests and problem resolution.   · Assume the lead role in the implementation of enhancements to the application system and computer operation environments. Selected candidate must be available to be "on call" every third week.   Job Requirements: Candidate Qualifications   · A minimum of 8 years experience in systems support & administration.   · In depth knowledge and ‘hands on’ experience administering IBM i-Series AS/400 systems & database architecture.
