SR. PROJECT MANAGER

Synergy Business Consulting requires an experienced Project Manager to support the Information Technology and Product Management teams.  This is a PM role that will interact across the technology groups including software engineers and developers. This PM will also be supporting both Finance & Accounting departments.

 

 

SR. PROJECT MANAGER:

 

Summary:

 

PM will manage the timeline, resources, and overall development of a large consumer website, infrastructure projects as they relate to the website, application development, and business intelligence. Experience managing a content management project, including development and migration is a preferred. Candidates must be self-motivated and comfortable with a flexible work environment.

 

Responsibilities

 

Must have experience interfacing with C-Level Executives. Excellent Communication skills are essential to this position. Individual should have experience managing Global International Projects. Experience managing Financial & Accounting related projects a plus. Individuals with experience managing ERP Implementations also a major plus.

 

Ownership of technical web development projects from inception to success.

 

Collaboration with Product, IT, Developers and Quality Assurance teams.

 

Manage consolidation of requirements and implementation plans - manage the scope, resources, deliverables and project schedule; and set expectations for those deliverables and timing and motivate to deliver against them.

 

Communicate project status in a timely manner serving as an effective information manager between senior stakeholder, business units, and technical/other teams.

 

Manage project kick-off, team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and risk management.

 

Requirements

 

Must have extensive experience in web applications development and full SDLC experience.

 

Experience in project trouble-shooting, and business re-engineering methods.

 

Bachelors Degree and 5+ years experience in project management methodologies. Both waterfall and iterative experience a plus.

 

PMP Certification, QA experience,Total Quality Management training, Six Sigma training, meeting facilitation training, and process mapping experience is preferred.

 

Prior use of project planning tools such as OnTime, Microsoft Project or similar tools.

Proven experience managing application releases and experience managing multiple projects with competitive priorities. Must have the ability to understand technical concepts and emerging technologies within the product industry.
