We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our CA team on a Department of Defense project. The candidate must have a good understanding of SOA concepts and products in the market place.  Experience in the following areas are requested:

• Must have prior experience with Service Discovery, Enterprise Services Management (ESM), Service Security, Messaging
• SOAP and REST based Web Services experience and understanding
• XML Technology experience and understanding (XML, XSLT, XPATH, XQuery, WSDL)
• Integration experience (installation and configuration of software products)
• Linux and Unix OS experience
• Experience with clustering and scalability
• Develop, test, debug, and document web-based Java/J2EE applications
• Facilitate system testing while supporting/troubleshooting production applications
• Share technical/product knowledge with other team members, and participate in evaluation of new technology and tools
• Understanding of architecture, scalability, requirements, processes
• Leadership and ability to task activities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must work well in a team environment
• Must be highly motivated and innovative problem solvers
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision

• Plans, coordinates and manages the project tasks necessary for the project to meet the client or customer requirements
• Directs project team personnel, manages costs and schedules, and serves as customer and subcontractor interface
• Responsible for planning, organizing, directing and tracking schedule, cost, contract and customer satisfaction
• Provides proactive leadership and direction of personnel performing complex tasks
• Evaluates effectiveness of project organization and makes changes when needed
• Assesses performance of subordinates and coaches them as needed
