This is a contract position that should last at least a year. Advanced knowledge and technical proficiency in Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 and/or System Center Operations Manager with experience in managing medium to large environments. SCOM (System Center Operations Manager) would be ideal; Solid MOM (Microsoft Operations Manager) skills are acceptable. Ability to troubleshoot all aspects of MOM/SCOM effectively and understand the product configuration, flow and logging in detail. Thorough understanding of the base OS and MOM Management Packs and be able to provide guidance on multiple Management Packs, including: Active Directory, Exchange, IIS or SQL including configuration, tuning and customization. Thorough understanding of MOM Connectors and the MOM Connector Framework. Accountable for providing engineering and support for Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) globally Responsibilities will also include engineering and support of the viability of the SMS infrastructure environment, including the installation of SMS, SMS services and its associated SQL database and toolsEducation/Experience: • BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience • Minimum of 5 years experience working with IT systems and technologies • Minimum of 2 years experience working with Microsoft SMS • Database knowledge • Programming knowledge • Data Analysis and reporting skills • Cross team coordination About Hudson IT & Telecommunications Hudson IT&T serves as a trusted resource for clients seeking high-quality technology professionals and IT solutions.
