SERVICE ORDER ANALYSTDescription: The Service Order Analyst's responsibilities include receiving and processing internal orders for telecommunications connectivity (VOIP & POTS) and corresponding equipment. They will also be assigning and switching ports, station and voice mail switch translations, and equipment and order provisioning field support. Requirements: 2-4 years of telecommunications industry experience in order entry and processing, cable pair and port assignment, and/or switch software provisioning. Experience with station programming for one or more of the following switches: Nortel SL100 and SL1, Avaya G3, Cisco Call Manager (VOIP), Lucent 5ESS, Merlin Prologix, Rolm PBX, Octel 250/350 Voice Mail, and Unity Voice Mail (Cisco Call Manager). Experience in the following tools and applications: DCRIS- Order Processing, cable/wire and switch port assignment; MacStar- 5ESS Translation; Recent Change- 5ESS Translation; Procomm- (G2, G3, Rolm, SL1, SL100, Octel Voice Mail programming); Cisco Call Manager CRS & Batfile; E-mail - Lotus Notes and/or Microsoft Outlook; and, MS Office applications (Word and Excell). Additional requirements include excellent communications and organization skills, team oriented, and ability to work independently on assignments. Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
