SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPERS/SYSTEMS ANALYST
Senior Java Developers to work on multiple environments (Linux, Solaris, and Windows) and on multiple DBMS systems (Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL).
Some interesting challenges our developers face everyday include:
· Supporting multiple applications ( J2EEE, Business Work, Portal…), platforms where the customers run their application. Our development team is constantly exposed to and works on a variety of web applications, application servers (Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic etc.), operating systems (Windows, Linux, Solaris, ), and database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL).
· Creating applications that are highly configurable.
· Building and tuning high performance systems that support thousands of concurrent users.
Mandatory Skills:
* Several years of overall experience in developing applications
* Minimum of 5 years in the design, development and implementation of web-based applications in a 3-tier computer environment* Minimum of 2 years experience in gathering requirements and creating design structure for new applications, while providing 2nd tier production support for existing web-based Java applications.
* Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience directly in Java programming
* Familiar with DBMS systems and SQL.
* Knowledge of application servers such as WebSphere, WebLogic, servlets, Enterprise Java Beans (EJB), JSP, and HTML/DHTML.
* Strong fundamentals of computer science, including knowledge of advanced data structures, algorithms, and multi-threading.
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Four-year or advanced degree in a technical field
Desired Skills:
* Knowledge of WebLogic or Websphere application server
* Experience in both Windows and Unix environments deploying Java based systems
* Experience in designing for and testing under large data volumes and stress conditions
Job Functions:
* A significant amount of design and coding work
* Hands on development, testing, and deploying of the software
