Job Category:SCA Discipline Primary Location:USA-CA: CALIFORNIA-NORCOSchedule:Full-time Job Type:Standard Employee Status:RegularJob Posting: 2008-08-12Description: SCA Engineering Technician V Naval Information Systems Center is actively searching for an SCA Engineering Technician V to help support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division, at Norco, CA. Candidate will provide Intelligence Analysis support to NSWC Corona Joint Force Assessment Dept. for Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) and/or NAVSEA Tasking; assist in development/implementation of assessment of effectiveness of Tactic Technique and Procedures(TTP) and tools used in Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Defeat training exercises at the US Army National Training Center and for Joint Center of Excellence (JCOE) staff support; and monitor real-world IED events for incorporation into IEDD training. Duties may also include support for JCOE Brigade Rotation Planning at NTC; assist in identification of IED Critical Technical Issues (CTI) for investigation and development of MOE/MOP's for CTI's; respond to customer requests. 4 years experience in USMC or Army Intelligence required. Military staff (G-3/Ops, plans & training); IED; and Iraq/Afghanistan in-country experience preferred. Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; certificate in Dept. of Defense Joint Specialty Officer a plus. GIS experience and Operations Analysis a plus. Advanced knowledge in leadership, engineering, program management/strategic planning, customer relations, team building, TQM, Lean and 6 Sigma preferred. Candidate will have to sit for long periods, up to 75 percent of the time; lift between 10-20 lbs. as much as 50 percent of the time; must have clear distance vision at 20 feet or more and good depth perception. Travel may be required on a monthly basis. Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to acquire a security clearance.
