SAS Programmer
One of Tier1Technologies strategic clients located in the San Antonio, TX area currently is looking to fill the position of SAS Programmer.
Must be US Citizen
Provide technical services in the area of statistics and SAS programming, Java, HTML and knowledge on Web development application for the Center for AMEDD Strategic Studies (CASS) to support the readiness and the strategic direction of the AMEDD with strategic health services research. Performs analysis of demographic and medical data and rate calculation and longitudinal analysis SAS and related products. Performs data manipulation to include data merging from various databases, data formatting and data clean up. Performs data transfer via electronic media to include coordination of transfer with various agencies and data analysis including developing SAS code to apply appropriate statistical techniques. Reports findings using SAS tables and graphs, SAS IntrNet and MS Office products. Interprets findings. Creates data dictionaries. Assists in the development of quality assurance plans and reviews and analyzes assessment plans developed by others. Coordinates research activities associated with these studies to include data collection, data aggregation, and data analysis and data interpretation. Writes required reports and documents findings for these projects.
Candidate must have a strong background in Java, HTML and SAS programming.
Typical Minimums: Bachelors degrees from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
