We have an immediate full-time opening for an SAP QM (Quality Management) Functional Consultant.  The Consultant is responsible for the on-time, on-budget delivery of their assigned functional area of an SAP implementation. Overall responsibilities of this position include blueprinting, documentation, configuration, testing, and support of their assigned functional area.   Successful candidates will have demonstrated skills in working with client resources to document as-is business processes,  leading clients through mapping individual functions to SAP functionality, configuration of the SAP system to meet customer requirements, interpreting business requirements between technical and functional resources, application testing techniques and end user support. 

 

This position requires the following demonstrated skills:5+ years of demonstrated consulting project implementation experience with at least 2 full life-cycle projects of a large size and/or complexity. Demonstrated configuration ability in SAP Quality Management moduleDeep business process experience in the quality management areasAbility to lead client project resources through resolution of project issues, design tasks, and ensure adherence to project documentation and methodology standardsExcellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively between IT and non-IT peopleAbility to work with people from diverse backgrounds within a client focused team environment Demonstrated analytical and decision making skills with the capacity to identify, understand and assimilate new information, determine its implications and develop appropriate solutions Demonstrated well developed written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills and presentation skills

 Duties:

· Produces detailed configuration of the integrated system software

· Determines integrated system design of required business scenarios with Business System Analysts

· Identifies and resolves functional gaps

· Determines master file and table configuration

· Provides integrated system and design expertise in designated functional areas

· Provides implementation experience in recommending and assessing design solutions and alternatives

· Facilitates use of implementation methodology

· Scrutinizes design for integration aspects

· Provides input on design and integration issues based on knowledge and previous implementation experience

· Provides input on technical implications of specific design solutions

· Provides technical specifications for any required enhancements

· Provides input on reengineering recommendations based on business experience

· Assists in performing unit and integration testing

· Provides input on training approaches where required

· Provides technical solutions for functional gaps

Demonstrated experience required in working with the following project related activities:Project deployment methodologiesSystem integration concepts and controls (preferably involving SAP) Gap AnalysisFunctional specificationsConfigurationApplication testing execution Documentation procedures and standards Data integrity strategies and controls Project change control procedures SAP enhancements and modifications SAP change control including SAP transports SAP support and escalation procedures
