SAP Pricing Administrator Business Intelligence (Bi) BW Analyst HOT 9-02-08
Two Immediate permanent positions available with our direct client located at 635 & McArthur Blvd in Irving Texas.
SAP Pricing Administrator / Business Intelligence (Bi) Analyst
Pricing Administrator / Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst is responsible for the execution of CLIENT’S pricing policies and procedures within SAP and the subsequent monitoring for compliance. In addition, this individual would be responsible for performing analysis of pricing data in SAP to report to sales and marketing. Such analysis should include, but not be limited to, base pricing, discounts, surcharges, freight, and rebates.
The individual selected should be placed on the Process Improvement Program (PIP) for the duration of the project in order to facilitate training and knowledge transfer and should be involved with the loading of pricing from legacy systems into SAP at each Go Live. Following successful implementation, expectations would be that this individual would serve to assist each line of business in the maintenance of pricing in SAP and use BI to assist management in the analysis of pricing data. Such analysis will support CLIENT’S in its efforts to optimize selling prices to customers.
This role should work in concert with the Order to Cash process team and Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to implement the global pricing strategy.
In addition, the individual should comply with the following PIP Guiding Principles:
1. The benefit and optimization to CLIENT’S overall will take precedence over the needs of the individual component.
2. Processes will align with CLIENT’S strategies, policies, standards and best practices in order to guarantee the health of the business as well as have customers as a top priority.
3. Change is a certainty and participation in the PIP is mandatory. We will commit our best and brightest people as well as sufficient resources giving us the greatest possibility of success. We will approach it as an investment with a cost benefit analysis.
4. We will communicate information frequently and effectively through proper channels to ensure understanding, consistency, clarity and buy in.
5. Solution design will be global, forward thinking and scalable.
6. ERP functionality gaps will be addressed in the following order: (1) Modify our process, (2) “Bolt on” software, (3) Customization/enhancements to the chosen ERP. Customization/enhancements will be minimized and will meet a litmus test. There will be no modifications to ERP code.
