SAP NetWeaver Solution Manager Administrator (Basis)
Contract Only - H-1B candidates will be considered.
Position Summary:
Support the SAP Solution Manager/ChaRM/One Transport Order and MS Cluster/ SQL Server environments (sandbox, development, quality assurance, training, pre-production and production). Document the SAP administration procedures. Assist in technical architecture documentation.
Roles/Responsibilities
Install, configure, tune and patch SAP systems. Document the SAP administration procedures. Monitor SAP logs, performance and usage daily. Monitor spool, job scheduling and file/spool cleanup. Manage SAP printers. Set up the change management/code migration strategy. Transport changes (TMS).
Minimum Qualifications
3 years of experience as an SAP NetWeaver Administrator (Basis).
Minimum 2 years experience with SAP NetWeaver Solution Manager/ChaRM/One Transport Order and MS Cluster/ SQL Server. Minimum of 3 years experience configuring, deploying, and securing distributed, clustered systems. Strong concepts of Database Administration, predominantly in performance tuning, backup and recovery. 3 years of experience with SAP Solution Manager/ChaRM/One Transport Order and
MS Cluster/ SQL Server. 3 years of experience with SAP upgrade and patch management. Know-how and exposure to System Refresh/Copy, Backup restore/recovery including Disaster Recovery, Server sizing, Consolidation and High Availability.
Experience with SAP SCM is desirable.
Soft Skills Good written and verbal communication. Accurate, dependable and detail oriented.
Able to work with minimum supervision on difficult assignments. Able to work effectively with others in a strong team-oriented environment. Able to work in a process driven environment. Able to complete assignments on schedule and within budget.
Preferences
ITIL Foundation Certified (or experience with ISO or CMMI)
SAP Certified Technology Professional - Platform Technology with SAP NetWeaver 7.0
