SAP FI/CO with FERC Consultant

POSITION: 

 

Description:  Senior FICO/ FERC Consultant

Location:  Greater Tucson, AZ

Duration: 4 months with extension likely

 

Rate: Competitive plus All Expenses (airfare/hotel/food/car rental) covered

Client: (Electric Power Cooperative). 

 

 

Requirement: Senior RUS resource - Minimum 7+ years SAP experience with FI, CO, EC-CS and IS-U/FERC module.  Includes general ledger, accounts payable, asset accounting, travel, consolidations, FERC accounting overhead cost controlling (cost centers, activity types, orders and projects) and treasury.

Hands-on experience with FI/CO/FERC ECC 5.0.
Experienced with General Ledger
Experienced with Asset Accounting, including group asset depreciation.
Experienced with Cost Center Accounting, Activity types and Internal Order Accounting.
Experienced with Project Systems and Plant Maintenance module, including fixed Asset integration.

Experienced with integration between PM, CO, and PS (Project systems).
Experienced with Travel module and integration with SAP HR.
Experienced with FI/CO-related content in Business Warehouse.
Experienced with Report writer/Painter and ABAP Query.

FI/CO/FERC Configuration required:

 

- FERC Chart of Accounts, FERC Cost center structure, cost center mappings

- Balance sheet accounts to corresponding FERC A/c, based upon alternative account field logic

- Settlement rules to allocate costs within cost centers and PS/PM orders to FERC Accounts

- Payroll cost centers to support labor distribution

 

Regulatory Reports related configuration:

- Ability to Drill Down from natural Account to RUS account

- Cost tracing back to primary cost elements

- Provide standard FERC/RUS Regulatory Reporting

- Provide simulation and roll back capabilities

- Full audit traceability

Electrical Utility Industry Experience an advantage
FERC (Federal Electricity Regulatory Commission) and RUS (Rural Utility Service) regulatory reporting experience advantage
