Requirements Analysis Expert

PSI is currently gearing up to provide the Government with the necessary expert advisory services in both Business process reengineering and requirements analysis for the upcoming Federal Health Care Center which will jointly service both Veterans and Active Duty Military Personnel. Many of the clinical care processes in VA and DoD treatment facilities are similar to each other. This work is about identifying potential opportunities and synergies for electronic health information sharing in order to provide more cost effective and efficient support for our nation's service members and veterans. This new Center will ultimately draw on the successes of both the Veteran's Health Affairs systems for Veterans and the Military Health Systems (MHS) systems for Active Duty Service Members. It will retain the best aspects of both and leverage their strengths, capabilities, and offerings for an even better Center under a single Command.

Essential Functions & Job Duties:

Successful candidate shall provide expert level requirements analysis and program support evaluating VHA, BUMED, and/or MHS systems with the goal of recommending the ideal systems requirements, including how to integrate them with the existing systems, for the new Federal Health Care Center. Selected candidates will work effectively with Government and Military officials, other analysts, IT professionals, and users as needed to execute this work. Technical writing and documentation will also be required. BA/BS in related field and 5+ years of relevant requirements analysis experience involving systems at one or more of following: VHA, BUMED, or MHS. Must have prior experience with at least two different Government Agencies on an intra-agency assignment. Experience must include requirements analysis for application software for health information systems and knowledge of healthcare requirements analysis, evaluation practices, and principles. Must be proficient in MS Office Suite, report/technical writing, and process mapping or flow charting. Must have experience working with senior-level DoD or Veteran's Affairs personnel. Experience in utilizing standard industry IT requirements collection, analysis tools and documenting health care requirements for IT healthcare applications. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and consulting skills; be willing to go the extra mile working extended hours as needed; and conduct themselves in a professional manner (above reproach) at all times. U.S Citizenship is required. Selected candidate will be subject to a Government background investigation and must pass such investigation is short order.

Ideal candidates will have experience with 2 or more of VHA, BUMED, or MHS working specifically with their health systems.
