Reporting Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Reporting Specialist position in the Membership Accounting Group is responsible for data consolidation, data analysis and management reporting. Utilizes software to generate metrics and produce effective reporting tools. Provides support to the Business Analyst and management by collecting, analyzing data and reporting results. Collaborates with various function teams such as marketing, research, IT to achieve business results. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Provides database reporting tools and recommendations to management to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected to assist with the development of new and innovative reporting tools.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Specifically, the ideal candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities:
Provide support to the Membership Accounting Group maintaining and generating business and operating reports in consultation with the unit and other organizational departments Assist in the drive of strategic planning processes to deliver timely, effective and accurate reporting toolsAssist with the building of analytical models that assess complex issues critical to strategic and operating success; Provide insight, conclusion and recommendations to management with use of data collection materials and informationResearch and analyze financial, technological and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize competitive activityWork on multiple business development projects and ad-hoc teams.Perform other related duties as assigned
EDUCATIONBachelors degree in Business Admin, Economics or equivalent area of study
EXPERIENCEMinimum of two years of reporting generation experience Previous healthcare experience is preferred, but not required.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSUREN/A
COMMUNICATION SKILLSRequires professional oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of management and with management in different departments.Ability to provide recommendations to team members
