Bring your progressive managerial style and strong team-building skills that are focused on quality, productivity and results, and make an indelible mark on an industry leader being a key enabler for the success of our vision 2010.As our Regional Lean Champion, reporting to the global deployment leader, you will have overall leadership for deploying the simplyPHILIPS operating system in all your region's manufacturing centers, including key suppliers.As a key member of the functional staff, the Regional Lean Champion will work top down, from management to shop-floor, with suppliers and other Philips units to identify and facilitate key projects that will improve quality, reduce costs, improve cycle time and provide the optimum benefits to customers and the business through waste/costs reduction. You will promote and facilitate the implementation of simplyPHILIPS operating System into Philips' regional manufacturing facilities, logistics network and key suppliers in the region utilising the Standard Implementation Framework to drive improvement across each of the impact metrics, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Cash and People...You will act as a change agent, leader and coach for all employees (senior managers to workers) for these and other proven continuous improvement methods designed to enable more efficient ways of working, sustainable cost reduction and improve our bottom line. Your Profile: In order to succeed you have a solid Manufacturing background (+10 years experience), preferably in the automotive domain, a LEAN / Six Sigma certification would be a plus but your personal energy, drive and ability to lead a significant change initiative will be the key enablers for success.You should be willing to travel extensively and feel comfortable working within the actual manufacturing environment.
