Regional IT Manager
LoopNet has an immediate opening for a Regional IT Manager for our San Francisco office. As a Regional IT Manager, you will operate as part of the technology operations team to manage the regional team and support LoopNet's information technology operations. We are looking for someone that has vast technical knowledge, IT experience and tremendous management skills.
Some of the responsibilities include:
*Active Directory domain administration for the regional office including the file and messaging servers
*Local and wide area network administration for the regional office
*Voice and data system management including all vendor relations and contracts
*LoopNet's internal help desk system and escalation of all tier II/III support incidents to insure their timely resolution
*Hardware/Software inventory tracking for the regional office including all hardware procurements from Dell
*Interaction with all members of the senior management team acting as their direct communication channel for all IT related issues
*Manage a group of helpdesk support engineers with daily IT related activities and working as a team to accomplish common departmental goals and objectives
*Assist the Technology Operations Manager with all other advanced IT projects including technology upgrades to the company infrastructure or other special projects
*24/7 availability of all regional data centers and critical services such as file, print, email and domain authentication
Required Skills:
*8-10 years of leading/managing a networking environment based on Microsoft and Cisco technologies
*4 year College Degree in Computer Science related field or equivalent work experience
*Microsoft or Cisco certifications with specialization in Microsoft exchange messaging (any version), like MCSE, MCP, MCSA, A+, Net+, Security+, CCNA, CCDA, or similar certifications highly desirable.
*Expert level knowledge with the following technologies: Microsoft 2000/2003 active directory, Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007 messaging systems, TCP/IP routing concepts and troubleshooting DNS services, Dell open manage services, VPN technologies based on IPSEC, and SOX compliance procedures and processes.
*Administration of a network environment of about 200 users with some remote access
*Familiarity with hosted data center operations standardized on Dell and Cisco hardware
*highly motivated, goal orientated, and organized team player
* Strong communication and interpersonal communication skills
