Experience desired supporting the following types of computing environments: Radiation Oncology clinical process/workflow information systemsRadiation Oncology medical devices including linear accelerators with IMRT/IGRT, CT simulators and radiological imaging systems, HDR afterloadersUnix-based Radiation Therapy treatment planning systemsCrystal ReportsHealthcare data standards including HL7, DICOM, DICOM-RT, ICD9, CPT and HIPAA security guidelinesExperience in Radiation Oncology is strongly desired

Responsibilities skills include:Supervising team membersTroubleshooting client/server application issuesCoordinating application upgrades or new software implementations, developing documentationAnalyzing departmental operations and suggesting features to improve clinical efficiencyTeaching studentsTraining Radiation Oncology staff in various applications that may include but that are not limited to MOSAIQ, Pinnacle, and Eclipse; automating routine maintenance tasksautomating systems monitoring and alerting processesScripting and/or programming using VB6/VBScript/VB.NET/C#Performing SQL queries and other DBA tasks

Qualified candidates will have strong interpersonal skills and will be able to communicate technological ideas to non-IT personnel.  Ability to function in a team atmosphere is essential.
