If you are looking for an AS400 environment, to program in RPGIV, RPGILE, CL, SQL...while learning additional skills on the side..so you are NOT always programming, this is the position for you.
Â
This is a back up position to the IS Director as a programmer/analyst.
Â
To you this means while managing RPG projects at the direction of the IS Director (Maintenance and New programming: analysis, coding, implementation, training and documenting)..you also will be trained to help a team support an entire IT environment. This includes supporting company PCs, support of printers, support of our Network environment, as well as back up administrator of our paperless environment.

Â
Platforms to learn in addition to iSeries include: Microsoft 2003 server platform, Lotus Notes, Sametime, and MSSQL 2005, Cisco and VPN
Â
Areas on the iSeries include: BRMS, Client Access, IFS, FTP between iSeries and other systems, InfoPrint server and Designer, AFP, and Navigator
