RF Design, Electrical Engineer

Job Code: RFCD11071105 Job Description: Responsible for all phases of complex, RF circuit assembly designs including requirements analysis, architecture development, specification, design, test and documentation release. Ability to work in a team environment and negotiate solutions among functional groups. Works with software, digital/control, mechanical engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interfaces between hardware and software and meet key performance requirements of overall system RF/analog hardware designs may include but are not limited to synthesizers, filters, matching circuits, front ends, RF switching, small signal amplifiers, power amplifiers. Responsible for monitoring progress and reporting status to supervisors. Provide technical oversight and guidance to junior engineers and/or technicians.   Qualifications: BS in Electrical Engineering or related field and 9 (nine) years directly related experience or Masters and 7 (seven) years directly related experience. Candidate should excel in team environment and possess effective verbal and written communications skills  Required Experience: Lead efforts in development of a major RF circuit design including defining architecture to meet high level requirements, defining detailed specifications, simulating, designing and testing/validating circuitry or guiding junior engineers to design circuitry to meet specifications. Documentation, testing and debugging of circuit design and all associated hardware interfaces Use of standard bench level test equipment as well as RF and analog analysis tools Technical mentoring of junior engineers or technical staff Preferred Experience: Familiarity with schematic capture and layout (PADS) programs Familiarity with CAD programs such as Agililent ADS, Microwave Office and PSpice Experience in military radio communications systems MS Office Suite (Word, Visio, Excel, Powerpoint, Project) Must be able to obtain a US Security Clearance.   Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
