Quality Assurance Automation Engineer
Permanent / FTE
Location: Las Colinas, TX
Travel: 10% - 15%
Â
Essential Job Functions:
Assist in facilitating both manual and automation testing that may consist of; answering business process team member’s questions, communicate processes and procedures, map test cases to process documents, perform quality checks on defects, attend daily triage meetings, perform peer reviews on manual and automation scripts, execute scripts, create manual and automated scripts, review functional and technical documents, follow-up with developers during the different test phases, run reports, participate in kick-off sessions, attend daily test debriefings, troubleshoot and document issues that arise from testing, communicate with off-shore testing teams, provide update reports to management, and perform general quality assurance tasks.

Required Qualifications: Â
·        Ability to develop solid and maintainable automated test scripts.
·        3 to 5 years testing  as part of a formal QA test organization
·        Basic knowledge and understanding of SQL skills.
·        3 - 4 years - Mercury's QuickTest Pro and WinRunner experience a big plus.
·        1- 2 years experience in load and Stress testing.
·        Must have experience testing in a SAP environment
·        Good knowledge of PC applications and familiarity with Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP
·        Experience in VB script is highly desired
·        Able to work long hours when needed to meet project deadlines
·        Able to work non-standard hours to overlap with non US time zones when needed
