QA and Testing Sr Specialist (Manual)

Position Description:

• Experience in Agile testing methodologies
• Experience in Healthcare. Retail experience is preferred
• Participation in SCRUM planning sessions as an integral part of the SCRUM Teams, including story planning, sprint planning and backlog grooming
• Executes testing work identified by the testing manager and analyst
• Creation of standard test environments, test plans and scripts to meet deliverables
• Prepares documentation for performance testing, change management, defect management, automation testing and integration of on and off-shore testing resources
• Prepares and conducts testing of new and modified applications and systems
• Participates in Quality Assurance (QA) design discussions on procedures and standards. Presents QA metrics for assessment
• Works with CIGNA IT management to maintain an effective testing methodology
• Administers change control process for zero defect software development
• Ensures appropriate amount of testing is performed prior to implementation
• Participate in hand-off to the Business Testers for User Acceptance Testing where applicable
• Identify improvement options to increase testing process efficiency
• At least four, typically six or more years experience in a systems quality environment, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Experience using HP Quality Center and JIRA
• Knowledge on mobile apps testing is a bonus
