QA Analyst/508 Compliance

TechTeam Government Solutions is a leading IT solutions company that provides IT infrastructure support, information assurance, managed services, and applications services support to federal, state, and local governments.We are currently seeking a QA Analyst with experience in Section 508 compliance to join our team in Bethesda, MD, supporting our NIH customer. Job Description

Responsibilities:Review reports from automated tools used for Section 508 compliance testing. Help Web editors and content authors understand how to address Section 508 non-compliance issues. Respond to users' queries regarding Section 508 standards for the Web and electronic information.

Required Skills: Experience converting preexisting web sites (HTML, ASP, and ASP.NET) so that they meet 508 compliance. Experience converting Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat documents so that they meet 508 compliance. Have advanced knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Professional version 8 or greater, DreamWeaver CS3.

Desired Skills:

Must have experience testing software/web applications for Section 508 compliance.

Desirable candidate skills include excellent communication skills, experience working with several clients or projects simultaneously, technical competence and strong organizational skills.

Education/Experience:

3-5+ years experience making software (ASP, ASP.NET), web sites (HTML) and documents (PDF, Word, PowerPoint) 508 compliant.

Personal requirements:

Logical thinker, self-starter, and strong team player
