Purchasing Analyst/Business Analyst

Job Description:

The main focus of this position is the tracking and analysis of usage, spend and supplier performance related to all Rx Supplies (bottles, bags, labels, boxes, all other non-drug consumables) and Postage (with all major parcel carriers), as well as the identification  and implementation of pharmacy process improvements and technical requirements to reduce the unit cost per Rx. Routinely interface with internal resources at each site (buyers, shipping managers and management teams.  This position also serves as a key contact for all commercial and technical communications between client and the suppliers of Rx Supplies and Postage services.



Qualifications:

Strong analytical skills, including high level use of MS Excel and MS Access.


· 1 or more years of Purchasing experience, with proven expertise in supplier management, logistics, inventory control, contracting and negotiations.

·  Extremely detail oriented with strong customer service skills.

· Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve problems and issues with innovative solutions.

· Ability to manage timelines, report progress and meet tight deadlines.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate project
