Description
Provide administrative support to Customer Service Representative and Purchasing Dept.
Job Duties
Purchasing; provide administrative support to the purchasing department. Organize and implement sourcing productivity projects and participate in sourcing components and equipment activities. Expedite orders as needed to ensure timeliness and ensure all purchase orders are acknowledged by the vendors. Evaluate and manage vendor performance to insure on-time deliveries and adherence to quality specifications. Will be creating spreadsheets using excel. Purchasing experience with a Telecom Co would be a plus.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent plus 2-4 years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Experience
2-4 years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and creating spreadshets.
