Proposal Professional

AINS, Inc. has been in business since 1988 and currently supports over 50 Federal agencies with information technology products and services.  We are seeking a Proposal Professional with 2-4 years of experience to join our proposal group on a temporary or part-time basis.

 

The position requires the following experience:Create compliance matrix and detailed fully compliant outline from RFPIdentify errors, inconsistencies and/or omissions in RFP – reformulate questions to be submittedCreate proposal document from team inputs; do all formatting – covers, headers, footers, pagination. TOC, appendices, etc.Create and format complex tables; use advanced table featuresWork with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel to develop (edit and transfer) materials for insertion into Word format proposal documents. E.g. Convert and format tables from Excel into Word.  Convert drawings in PowerPoint to images in WordPlace and title graphicsFormat resumes and project summaries.Prepare transmittal lettersAssist with document and CD production/copying/packaging for delivery

 

Qualification Requirements2-4 years relevant experienceSchooling in Journalism preferredExperience in editing (style, grammar, punctuation)Good technical writing skillsGood information technology vocabulary skillsAdvanced use of MS Word and MS PowerPoint
