We are currently seeking a Proposal Manager to join our team in Bethesda, MD.Job Description

Under the supervision of the VP, Strategic Capture, the Proposal Manager will be responsible for coordinating with the Business Development Manager and Capture Manager to understand capture strategy for an approved pursuit effort.  The candidate will conduct strategy sessions to develop win strategies and themes, identify and assess competitors, and develop client hot buttons. In addition, candidate will:Perform detailed RFP analysis. Create compliance matrices; develop a detailed proposal plan, schedule, and outlines/templates to control proposal development. Edit proposal sections using standard templates. Draft graphics, format, tailor and edit resumes and past performance write-ups. Perform substantive reviews of both text and graphics, ensure the assigned writing sections comply with RFP requirements, contain win strategies and win themes, and comply with standard format and style criteria. Contribute to the development of standard proposal-ready content (boilerplate) for use in future proposal development efforts and capturing any new language written for addition to the proposal database. Track and report status of all proposal elements to the capture team and the VP, Strategic Capture. Anticipate possible trouble areas and work with the manager to provide practical solutions to problems as they arise. Perform proposal production activities as required Attend win/loss debriefings and develop lessons learned.Required SkillsPossess excellent written and oral communications skills and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel. The candidate will be able to balance multiple projects and work to meet deadlines. Must be flexible with schedule (weeknights/weekends), a team player, and detail-oriented. Must have a full working knowledge of Microsoft office suite Must have a deep understanding of Federal Government procurement policies as they relate to Request For Proposals (RFPs)Required ExperienceRequires a 4 year degree or equivalent Minimum 7-10 years of related experience Must be able to understand a wide range of IT concepts.
