Title: Project Manager – PMP, CISSP

Location:  Reston, VA

Seeking a Project Manager with a PMP and CISSP certifications to provide technical leadership and direction for several security-related projects at a civilian US Government Agency. This is an excellent full-time opportunity for a person with experience managing IT Security Programs and/or certification and accreditation (C&A) projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for working on and coordinating the completion of security group related projects, including security program development (policy and procedures), certification and accreditation tasks, and contingency planning/disaster recovery exercises. Candidate will provide project management level guidance to security group members

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• 5 years of Project Management experience planning, leading, and completion of multiple concurrent tasks in the IT system security operations disciplines.
• Experience in ensuring FISMA compliance, thorough understanding of NIST SP, OMB and FIPS requirements for civilian federal agencies.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and leading small teams on federal contracts.
• Must have the ability to understand technical operations environments; and the ability to communicate issues and solution approaches to the customer and senior management.
• Demonstrated experience in project estimation, planning and collaboration with the team to create project plan; management experience in staffing and leading technical teams; and prior hands-on expertise in information assurance and IT systems security.
• Excellent Customer Service skills and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Education/Training and Certification:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- Must have Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- 5 years of successful project in information assurance and IT systems security.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional Certification (CISSP, CISA, GSEC, or equivalent) is a plus
- Must be clearable
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and MS Project
- Experience in CMM and ISO
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
