Project Manager - Online Advertising

One of our strategic clients in this industry segment has asked Covestic to address their immediate need for a number of experienced Project Managers to help drive new offerings and technologies in support of their rapidly growing online advertising business. Ideal candidates will have a track record of success developing and delivering hosted software solutions, possess a combination of relevant business and technical skills and be passionate and knowledgeable about online advertising. The primary responsibilities of the Project Manager include:- Lead a cross functional team to deliver features and meet KPI target requirements for business growth.- Maintain project level scope and drill into project specific technology and process related issue to drive decisions.- Aggregate requirements and create clear, concise, and timely specifications for features.- Build strong relationships across client teams and 3rd parties.- Identify and track key metrics critical to project success.- Reconcile schedule and resources across multiple projects.- Communicate schedule and status as it applies to the team and drive release meetings.- Help resolve critical cross-team technical or project issues as they impact the release plans.- Deliver products to production for releases and serve as an escalation point.- Present to senior management, partners and customers. - 5-8 years of industry experience in shipping software and services.- Full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience. - Previous consulting experience preferred.- College degree in Computer Science or related field.- Experience managing and leading direct reports preferred.- Demonstrated experience in managing the design, development, and continuous improvement of complex systems, processes, tools and reports.- Superior quantitative, analytical, logical reasoning skills.- Strong technical background in software development and/or datacenter infrastructure as follows:---Software Development--Comfortable talking to developers and architects about code and algorithms. General web technical knowledge should include products such as:JScript/AJAX and ASP.NET. ---Datacenter Infrastructure -- Understanding of hosted service data center infrastructure and operations including experience working with large, complex SQLServer databases. - Strong background in at least one of the following areas preferred:- Regulatory Compliance including SOX, Privacy and Security, and industry specific audits such as the MRC and PCI.- Quality management practices including ITIL and Six Sigma.- Fraud detection.- Proven analytical and prioritization skills, including identifying quality metrics, developing scorecards and providing summary reporting.- A minimum of 1 year experience with technical support troubleshooting with customers, preferably for an online service.- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and interpersonal skills.- Strong business instincts and project management skills. - Understanding of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). PMP Certification preferred.- Proficient with MS Office Tools (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio). RESPOND HERE!
