Project Manager, IT Operations -- thePlatform Seattle, WA

thePlatform is growing and hiring a Project Manager, IT Operations.

- Project Manage large enterprise level initiatives from early stages through delivery.
- Define and support key project processes including estimation tracking, change control, issue/risk management, etc.
- Monitor overall project progress and report status and next milestones to project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Work with Development, Product Management and Network Operations teams to plan and coordinate resources, tasks, environments and roll out.
- Oversee issue resolution and project change management.
- Own capacity models to forecast the delivery schedule for team project portfolio, model different scenarios and project future resource needs.
- Engage Program Managers on best practices, tools and techniques.

Required Skills:
- 7+ years of project management experience in a professional technology organization.
- High degree of competency within all phases of project management including: issue and risk identification and management, change management, tracking dependencies and milestones, and communication of overall project status.
- Very strong knowledge of software development processes; high availability website experience a definite plus.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated analysis and innovative problem solving skills using a systems thinking approach.
- Experience with successfully implementing large change initiatives within an organization.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
