Fortune 100 company and nationally recognized industry leader in Memphis, TN is seeking an experienced Project Manager to be responsible for creating and managing large-scale project plans to include SW selection, HW implementation, release planning and new application development. Responsibilities: - Manage projects from conception to completion to include project definition, scope, quality, budget, and staff morale and customer satisfaction before, during and after project completion. - Analyze, investigate, design and help develop proposed solutions to business sponsored initiatives. - Lead meetings with internal departments and collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements and assess impacts to other data, systems, products or services. - Identify, define and measure project scope and deliverables with accountability to owner/sponsor for delivery of overall results. - Ensure plans define project tasks and considers schedules, business risks, deliverables and resources. - Will consult with users to identify objectives and communicate deliverables and priorities to management. May also be expected to write documentation to describe program development, workflow, and business processes. - Ensure project team is motivated, collaborating, partnering and is providing quality work that aligns with business strategy. Requirements: Must have a 4-year degree; excellent written/verbal communication skills; superb organizational skills; ability to adjust to shifting priorities, meeting facilitation experience and leadership skills. Must also have a demonstrated track record of managing large scale IT projects with large budgets. Experience with formal project management methodologies, PMI, Six Sigma are also preferred.
