Project Management-Software Applications and Development
Our Birmingham headquartered client is currently seeking a Project Manager for their software applications and development team. The candidate will have excellent communications skills, and strong written and verbal abilities. Must have strong aptitude and desire to perform field support.
Candidates should have experience in the following:Project Management (PMI, Six Sigma, other related practice) Creation and execution of project articles that are complete, current, and stored appropriately Identification of resources needed and assignment of individual responsibilities Management of day-to-day operational aspects of a project and its scope Effective application of methodology and enforcement of project standards Preparation of engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures Minimization of company exposure and risk on projects Technical Understanding Possess general understanding in the areas of application programming (Java/.Net), database, systems development lifecycle and system design Knowledge of various client access architectures
