Job Category:Project/Program Management Primary Location:USA-FL: FLORIDA-PATRICK AFBSchedule:Full-time Job Type:Standard Employee Status:RegularJob Posting: 2008-09-02Description: Principle Duties and Essential Job Functions Manage the CSR Operator Training program for Government personnel, to include mission support positions as Range Engineer, RCO, ROC, MFCO, FSA, and LWO. Partner with subject matter experts within all CSR departments to transform complex technical information into effective learning modules. Conduct needs assessment with Government organizations to analyze personnel training needs. Plan, design, develop, and deliver quality AF Instructional System Development (ISD) training material. Training material to include technical source and reference documentation, lesson plans, written tests, Computer Based Training (CBT), and integrated training scenarios. Develop and retain repository for all training materials. Develop training schedules and sequencing of training. Integrate training into government training standards. Create training metrics to track success and provide continuous improvement. Create and maintain Government Operations Training Plan. Maintains close communication with Government personnel to ensure customer satisfaction and facilitate future business growth opportunities. Select and hire additional employees as requirement evolves. Write requisitions, review resumes, prescreen/interview candidates, and make hiring recommendations. Train and evaluate employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Address performance issues and make recommendations for personnel actions. Basic QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in a related field and seven or more years experience is required; a Master's degree is desired. Experience in developing and delivering training is desired. Must have good relationship building skills and the ability to be a liaison between the technical community and the Customer. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interface with diverse audiences. Must have demonstrated both leadership and management/supervisory skills. Demonstrated ability to develop cross-functional training teams, and to interact with all departments. Demonstrated ability to create interactive training using adult learning principles, case studies, simulations, and role-plays is desired. Demonstrated ability to conduct training needs assessments is desired. Proficiency with Personal Computer applications, to include Microsoft Windows XP/Office 2007, is required. Must be able to work independently, with a team, or as a leader in a team environment. Must be able to manage multiple tasks of different priorities and must be capable of meeting assigned deadlines. Requires occasional adjusted work hours (nights/weekends) to meet deadlines or to observe/support launch operations. Must be able to travel locally within a twenty-mile radius of Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. May require occasional downrange or TDY travel to other Ranges or to technical meetings or conferences. Some travel may occur on nights, weekends, or holidays. Valid U.S. driver's license and U.S. passport required. Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Secret security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalization.
