Job Title: Project Management 4  Job Code: BCD05081003  Job Description: Manage new technology development projects Act as the product development interface for customers as well as for internal departments such as Product Line, Manufacturing and Purchasing Manage on project level all technical aspects for the introduction of selected TV and Radio Transmission unit products Provide visibility of project status and issues, drive issue resolution with innovative approaches Regularly and proactively report on project progress to senior management Ensure project execution across multi-site internal and vendor teams Establish consistent project management structure over multiple sites Conduct project reviews and audits Forecast project and work resources Participate in resource skill assessments and reviews Support development and drive implementation of the new project management process   Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline At least 5 – 7 years related work experience Minimum 2 – 3 years project management experience, preferably in a virtual team environment Significant experience in project management (cost, schedule and performance) of projects with budgets in excess of $1M Project management certified (Prince2 or PMP) or sufficient experience to demonstrate skills equivalent to those of a certified project manager Must be experienced in the use of MS Project  Preferred Additional Skills: Master’s Degree desired By submitting your resume for this position, you understand and agree that Harris Corporation may share your resume, as well as any other related personal information or documentation you provide, with its subsidiaries and affiliated companies (including Harris Stratex Networks, Inc.) for the purpose of considering you for other available positions.
